Nutrition is a dialogue,
not a rulebook.
Sihat Nutri exists for the professional who knows what to do but struggles to sustain it. We design practical strategies that fit the rhythm of your life, not the other way around.
"Sihat"
means healthy

Credentials & Clinical Experience
Nor Azlina binti Ahmad
B.Sc. Nutrition & Dietetics (UKM), Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE)
The Turning Point: My focus shifted when I realized that "willpower" was the metric most often cited by clients who eventually failed. In my third year of practice at a corporate wellness clinic, I began tracking environmental triggers rather than just caloric intake. The result was a 40% improvement in adherence rates among busy executives. The clinical training from my CDE certification taught me to look at the system surrounding the patient, not just the lab numbers.
Real-World Context: I have worked with two distinct demographics: clinical patients managing metabolic conditions (Type 2 Diabetes, PCOS) and corporate teams facing burnout. This dual experience means I understand both the physiological urgency of medical nutrition therapy and the logistical constraints of the 60-hour work week.
"When a client brings me a stack of conflicting internet advice, my clinical background allows me to trace the evidence back to the source, filtering out the noise."

We reject the concept of "cheat meals." The Sihat Nutri method is built on the "Add-First" Principle. Before we discuss what to reduce, we identify what can be added. Fiber to slow digestion. Hydration to regulate hunger. Protein to stabilize energy.
This approach is rooted in the Malay concept of Sihat—holistic health—but rigorously filtered through global nutritional science. Sustainability is the only metric that matters. A plan that breaks down during a business trip or a busy deadline is a failed plan, regardless of how "perfect" it looks on paper.
"We don't sell meal plans; we teach you how to build them for life."
- Scenario: A client who hated vegetables learned to love them via roasting and spice blends, not willpower.
- Constraint: This is not a quick-fix diet. It requires 4-6 weeks of habit calibration.
Method Note: Robustness & Limits
How Evaluation Works: Every recommendation Sihat Nutri makes is evaluated against two primary filters: Adherence Probability and Metabolic Impact. We do not recommend protocols that have a high likelihood of disrupting sleep or work performance, even if they promise faster results.
Robustness Testing: We "stress-test" meal plans against real-world variables. If a strategy relies on a specific kitchen appliance or 60 minutes of prep time daily, it is considered fragile. The goal is to find the minimum effective dose that survives a 12-hour workday and travel.
Limits: Nutrition cannot solve every problem. There are scenarios where medical intervention or psychological support is required. My role is to identify that threshold early and refer accordingly. We do not treat eating disorders, nor do we prescribe therapeutic ketogenic diets for medical conditions without physician oversight.
What Would Change My View: If a client consistently misses appointments or reports sleep deprivation (under 5 hours/night), the nutritional plan is paused. We address the foundational lifestyle factors first. If you cannot commit to a minimum of 8 weeks of consistent check-ins, this methodology will not yield results.

Key Terms & Opinions
- Glycemic Load
- We prefer this over Glycemic Index Measures the impact of total carbs, not just the type. Crucial for preventing energy crashes in high-stress jobs.
- Nutrient Synergy
- The "Force Multiplier" Pairing Vitamin C with plant iron boosts absorption significantly. We optimize combinations, not just ingredients.
- Keystone Habit
- Where We Start A single change (usually hydration or sleep) that makes all other habits easier. It is the foundation of our initial protocol.
- The 80/20 Protocol
- Sustainability Filter 100% compliance is a myth that leads to burnout. We plan for 20% flexibility to ensure 100% adherence during the other 80%.
The Synergy Effect
Observation: Adding citrus to a spinach salad isn't just flavor. It changes the chemical availability of iron.
Satiety vs. Volume
Restricting fat often increases hunger. We prioritize healthy fats to trigger satiety signals naturally.
Hydration as a Diagnostic Tool
Mild dehydration (just 2%) signals as hunger, not thirst. We use hydration protocols to clarify hunger cues before adjusting calories. It is the lowest-hanging fruit in metabolic health.
From First Visit to Lasting Change
Demystifying the consultation process. No surprises, no magic pills.
Discovery Call
A 15-minute, no-obligation chat. We discuss your goals, your history, and determine if the method is the right fit for your situation.
Format: Phone/Video
The Deep Dive
60–90 minutes. Comprehensive dietary recall, lifestyle analysis, and a review of your typical stressors and schedule.
The Blueprint
Within 48 hours, you receive your Sihat Nutri Blueprint. This is a strategy document, not a rigid menu. It includes the "Add-First" framework.
The Pitfall to Avoid
Expectation: "I want to lose 5kg in the first month."
Reality: The first month is for data collection and habit formation. We are building the foundation, not the roof. If you are seeking a 7-day quick fix, this methodology is designed for a 7-year solution.
